We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Financial Planning and Analysis (FPA) Manager to join our team in the technology industry. This is a permanent position, offering a unique opportunity to play a crucial role in the financial planning and decision-making process of our organization. The FPA Manager will be responsible for conducting research and development, managing commercial pricing, overseeing budgeting, and ensuring profitability. This role also involves handling profit-loss statements and managing capital expenditures (CAPEX).
Responsibilities:
1. Lead the financial planning and analysis function, including the annual budgeting process, monthly forecasting, and strategic planning.
2. Conduct research and development to identify new opportunities and risks, and present these findings to the senior management team.
3. Manage commercial pricing strategies to drive profitability and growth.
4. Monitor and analyze monthly operating results against budget, and manage the preparation of the profit-loss statement.
5. Oversee and manage all CAPEX, including the evaluation of potential investments and the monitoring of existing investments.
6. Develop financial models and analyses to support strategic initiatives and business decision making.
7. Provide financial consulting and strategic support to senior management, including preparing board presentations, financial presentations, capital expenditure analysis, and other projects requested by senior management.
Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field. An MBA or related advanced degree is preferred.
2. Minimum of 3 years of experience in financial planning and analysis, preferably in the technology industry.
3. Strong understanding of commercial pricing strategies, budgeting processes, and profitability analysis.
4. Proficient in managing profit-loss statements and CAPEX.
5. Exceptional analytical skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights.
6. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present financial information in a clear and concise manner to non-financial stakeholders.
7. Proficient in financial modeling and forecasting techniques.
8. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial software.
9. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to manage and mentor a team.
10. Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make sound financial decisions.
