Fund Accountant (Private Equity)

We are an experienced and successful investment firm looking for a Senior Associate that is looking to grow with us!

Requirements:

• College degree in Accounting or Finance
• 1-5 years of experience in private or public accounting (compensation is based on years and quality of experience and education)

Nice to haves (but not required):

• Big 4 Experience
• Private Equity/Investment Experience (very nice, but not required)
• Fund Accounting/Fund Management Experience (very nice, but not required)

Some Responsibilities of the Position:

• Preparation of Accrual Journal Entries, Quarterly Cash, & all supporting sub-ledgers (Tax and GAAP)
• Preparation of daily cash needs (i.e. wires, summaries, & reconciliations)
• Investment Schedule Preparation; obtain legal docs for all investment/disposals
• Distribution calculation & capital calls
