Gas Turbine Repair Engineer

Our client, a high growth global leading Gas & Steam Turbine Repair company located in Houston is looking to add a Repair Engineer to the team due to growth. This private equity backed firm is looking for a 6+ year engineer that is looking to take the next step in their career; working directly with clients, seeing several sides of the business and having an heavy influence on the future of this company.

• Responsible for leading / developing key repair practices focused on gas turbines stationary components, creating data forms & updating drawings, and optimizing our internal processes
• Provides technical guidance to shop floor & tech reps and other stakeholders as it relates to specifications and customer requirements.
• Consistently finds and implement creative solutions to improve process and cost-efficiency as it relates to engineering and technical scope.
• Collaborate with Operations and Sales as it relates to technical aspects of repair and troubleshooting.
• Design strategies for future development projects based on the company’s overall objectives and resources.

Must Haves/Nice to Have:

• Degree in Engineering
• 6+ years of power generation or oil/gas industry experience
• Direct turbine experience is highly preferred
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
