- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with stakeholders
- Create and manage construction project budgets and schedules
- Negotiate contracts with general contractors and subcontractors
- Oversee performance of construction teams, including general contractors and site managers
- Ensure compliance with building codes, safety standards, and quality control measures
- Obtain necessary permits and licenses for construction projects
- Manage resource allocation and logistics for materials, workers, and equipment
- Develop and maintain relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory bodies
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in civil engineering, construction management, or related field
- 5+ years of experience in construction project management
- Strong knowledge of construction methodologies, materials, and regulations
- Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Proficiency in project management software and MS Office suite
- Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and technical documents
- Strong time management and organizational skills
