Job Details
We are looking for a Staff Accountant to support our accounting operations, ensuring accuracy, efficiency, and compliance in financial reporting. This role will be responsible for maintaining general ledger accounts, reconciling financial data, and assisting with month-end close. The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, and eager to contribute to a fast-paced, tech-driven environment.
Key Responsibilities
Assist in month-end and year-end close processes, including journal entries and reconciliations.
Maintain the general ledger, ensuring accurate classification of expenses and revenues.
Reconcile bank accounts, credit cards, and other financial accounts on a regular basis.
Support accounts payable and receivable functions, including invoice processing and payment tracking.
Help prepare financial statements, reports, and variance analyses for management review.
Ensure compliance with GAAP and internal financial policies.
Assist with audits, tax filings, and regulatory compliance.
Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in financial reporting.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support financial planning and decision-making.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
1-3 years of accounting experience, preferably in a technology or data-driven environment.
Strong knowledge of GAAP accounting principles.
Experience with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, SAP, or similar).
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs, etc.).
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
High attention to detail and accuracy.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
