Golf Course Superintendent

We are a private, high-end mountain club located in Utah, catering to a multi-generational membership with robust amenities and world class golf. We are currently operating two championship courses and a third 18-hole par 3 course.

We are seeking a Superintendent to oversee the operations of the course. The individual will report to the Director of Agronomy who oversees the three courses.

• Base Salary of $85,000 - $100,000 based on experience & education,

Responsibilities:

• Ensuring the playability of the course at the standards set.
• Recruit, train and supervise the golf maintenance staff.
• Conduct the morning job assignments and meetings.
• Execute the daily and weekly schedules for the crew.
• Work as a team with the golf professionals creating cooperation for tournaments, daily play, and general course conditions.
• Assist with safety programs, training, and record keeping
• Assist in the budgeting process and financial evaluations.
• Oversee fertilizer and chemical applications.
• Managing the irrigation and water conservation initiatives.
• Must have a strong working knowledge of mower operations, utility carts, tractor, spreaders, irrigation systems and small equipment.
• Coordinate with the Equipment Manager to repair, clean, paint, and refurbish equipment.
• Winter work consists of snow removal and equipment maintenance projects.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus

Education:

Must have 2-year or 4-year degree in Turf Grass Management along with five plus years in Operations and Supervision.
