We are seeking an experienced full time Head of Clinical Development to join our scientific industry team. As the Head of Clinical Development, you will be responsible for leading the clinical development team in the design, execution, and management of Immuno-oncology clinical trials. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful development and commercialization of innovative biotechnology and pharmaceutical products.

Responsibilities:

• Lead the clinical development team in the design, execution, and management of clinical trials for Immuno-oncology
• Develop and implement clinical development plans, including study protocols, informed consent forms, and study reports.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including Safety, DSURs, IND, and NDA submissions.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including research and development, regulatory affairs, and medical affairs, to ensure the successful development and commercialization of innovative biotechnology and pharmaceutical products.
• Manage and mentor clinical development staff, including clinical trial managers, clinical research associates, and data managers.
• Analyze and interpret clinical trial data, and prepare reports for regulatory submissions and scientific publications.
• Participate in scientific and medical conferences, and present clinical trial data to key stakeholders.

Qualifications:

• Advanced degree in a scientific discipline-MD
• 10 years of clinical development in the biotechnology or pharmaceutical industry (ideally smaller companies), 5+ years of oncology experience
• Strong experience in oncology and immunology
• Demonstrated experience in drug development, protocol development, data review and more
• Excellent understanding of immunology/oncology and its application to drug development.
• Strong leadership and management skills, with experience in managing and mentoring clinical development staff.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting clinical trial data to key stakeholders.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
