Job Details

We are seeking an associate to join our Los Angeles office, though remote applicants will also be considered. This is a fantastic opportunity to become part of our nationally recognized healthcare practice, honored by numerous prestigious rankings. California Bar admission is required.

The Opportunity
We are looking for a candidate with a minimum of three years of litigation experience to join our California-based healthcare litigation team. Our team regularly represents healthcare entities in areas such as False Claims Act litigation, federal and state investigations, government enforcement actions, and other complex civil disputes. We value those who appreciate the art of law and are eager to join a premier team handling high-stakes matters in the health sector. As part of our rapidly growing group, you will work collaboratively with colleagues across our Complex Disputes, Healthcare, and Government Investigations & White Collar Defense teams, both locally and nationwide.

What We’re Looking For

Significant litigation experience, including a strong familiarity with both federal and California procedures.
Exceptional writing skills, demonstrated through drafting pleadings, briefs, declarations, and memoranda, paired with excellent project, litigation, and client management abilities.
Proficiency in e-discovery, with hands-on experience using document and information management platforms.
A background in representing healthcare entities and navigating intricate regulatory environments, including an understanding of federal and California healthcare fraud and abuse laws and other regulations impacting reimbursement under governmental healthcare programs.
A proactive attitude with a willingness to take ownership of assigned matters, projects, and tasks.
Preferably, prior experience through a clerkship or with a relevant federal or state agency.
We expect candidates to have strong academic credentials, sound judgment, excellent communication skills, and a steadfast commitment to providing outstanding client service.
