Job Details:

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Permanent Project Engineer in the Construction industry. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a wide range of construction projects, from commercial buildings to residential developments, and infrastructure projects. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring that all aspects of the project are executed to the highest standard, within budget and on schedule.

Responsibilities:

As a Project Engineer, you will be responsible for:

1. Assisting in the planning, management, and execution of construction projects.
2. Managing and tracking project submittals and ensuring that all documentation is accurate and up-to-date.
3. Coordinating with all project stakeholders, including architects, contractors, and clients.
4. Preparing and issuing RFI's (Request for Information) and change orders.
5. Conducting regular site inspections to ensure compliance with project specifications and safety standards.
6. Utilizing project management software such as Primavera and Prolog to manage project schedules, costs, and resources.
7. Assisting in the preparation of project reports and presentations.
8. Resolving any project-related issues or discrepancies promptly and professionally.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this role, you should possess the following:

1. A Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within the construction industry.
3. Proficiency in project management software such as Primavera and Prolog.
4. Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and legal regulations.
5. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with a range of stakeholders.
6. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure.
7. A proactive approach to work, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and meet tight deadlines.
8. A thorough understanding of document control procedures, RFI's, and change orders.
