Job Details:

We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior IT Technician to join our team in the Manufacturing industry. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in providing IT support and solutions, with a primary focus on maintaining and troubleshooting various systems and technologies. Responsibilities:

As a Senior IT Technician, your duties will include but not limited to:

1. Providing high-level technical support and guidance to users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network-related issues.
2. Maintaining and administering computer networks and related computing environments including systems software, applications software, hardware, and configurations.
3. Performing diagnostics to identify and isolate problems across a variety of hardware platforms (desktops, laptops, and printers).
4. Installing, configuring, and maintaining Windows servers and workstations.
5. Managing user accounts, emails, and ensuring systems are secure and up-to-date.
6. Assisting in the planning, design, documentation, and implementation of various systems.
7. Providing on-call support on a rotational basis and performing other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Senior IT Technician role, you must have the following:

1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in an IT Technician role or similar, preferably within the Manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in managing and troubleshooting systems, servers, windows, emails, laptops, desktops, and printers.
3. Strong knowledge of help desk operations and understanding of how to provide superior customer service.
4. Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and other common desktop applications.
5. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot technical issues.
6. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain complex technical issues to non-technical users.
7. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, manage multiple tasks, and prioritize effectively.
8. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field is preferred.
