With a competitive compensation range of $140K-$200K + 11-15% bonus, this role offers the opportunity to work on complex tax planning strategies for affluent individuals and families.

As a Senior Tax Strategist, you will be a key player in providing advanced tax planning and advisory services to HNW clients. This role is ideal for a tax professional who thrives in a strategic, consultative environment, guiding clients through sophisticated tax strategies while overseeing a team of advisors and preparers. Remote work is an option for candidates in MST / PST with occasional travel. However, we are unable to employ candidates in California.

Responsibilities:
- Oversee and review complex tax returns for HNW individuals, estates, trusts, and businesses
- Develop and implement advanced tax planning strategies to optimize clients' financial positions
- Provide strategic tax guidance in collaboration with financial advisors and estate planning professionals
- Research and analyze tax laws to ensure compliance and identify planning opportunities
- Mentor and manage tax advisors, ensuring high-quality client service
- Communicate directly with clients, providing clear, proactive tax advice
- Support business development efforts through tax-focused client solutions
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- At least 8+ years of tax experience, with a strong focus on HNW clients
- CPA required; Master’s in Taxation or CFP preferred
- Extensive experience in tax review, planning, and compliance for high-net-worth individuals and families
- Strong knowledge of estate, gift, and trust tax strategies
- Ability to manage multiple complex client relationships and lead a team
- Willingness to travel occasionally if working remotely; must be in our time zone
