Job Details

The Hotel Front Desk Manager is responsible for the successful operation of the Front Desk and Resort Call Center. Manager ensures superior guest service and employee satisfaction while meeting department financial goals.

Responsibilities:
  • Provides exceptional customer service to all internal and external customers. Establish a positive environment for profit, productivity and fun!
  • Dvelop, implement and enforce guest service performance objectives and scripts. Review systems routinely to ensure objectives are met.
  • Lead, motivate and direct Hotel Supervisors and Team Members. Responsible for the success of employee recruitment, retention, coaching, and discipline.
  • Responsible for day to day management of a 201 room hotel. Includes front desk and call center staff, staff of 18 when fully staffed (does not have oversight of housekeeping). Reports into Hotel Director.

Requirements:
  • Experience with management in Hospitality
  • Ability to work a typical schedule that's likely to include mid-day shift (10a – 6p/11a – 7p), and at least one day of the weekend.
  • Skilled in understanding and motivating people as well as negotiation
