Job Description
Lead the execution of HR strategies that align with both immediate and long-term business objectives.
Foster a positive work environment by spearheading and implementing various employee programs.
Manage daily HR operations by offering guidance and direction on policies, processes, and programs to all employees in the supported locations.
Provide coaching and support to employees, supervisors, and leadership on conflict resolution and performance enhancement.
Conduct investigations into employee relations issues and recommend corrective actions in consultation with Corporate HR.
Supervise the onboarding process for new hires in the area office using Workday, ensuring all new hire forms are completed.
Offer continuous development and support to HR Business Partners in the area.
Ensure adherence to employment laws, regulations, and company policies, procedures, and processes.
Collaborate with Corporate on the implementation and reporting of the Affirmative Action Plan as required by OFCCP.
Support benefit administration by communicating available benefits, handling inquiries, and escalating issues to Corporate HR.
Coordinate FMLA and short-term disability requests and tracking in consultation with Corporate HR.
Assist Talent Acquisition with organizing on-site interviews.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources Management or related, or equivalent work experience.
Ten or more years of human resources experience. Construction industry experience is preferred.
SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification, or the ability to obtain it.
Ability to interact effectively with all levels of the organization.
Strong problem solving and conflict management abilities.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Must have the ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality.
Strong organizational, attention to detail, and prioritization skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office and familiarity with Workday preferred.
Location – This position will support the Central and Mountain Areas.
Travel – This role will be expected to travel to the Denver, Colorado office and project locations 30% of the time.
Office environment – extensive sitting at desk and computer; some standing, bending at the waist, stooping and reaching required; ability to lift 5-20 pounds occasionally.
