We are seeking a dynamic and experienced HR Coordinator to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a strategic partner to the business, developing HR strategies, needs assessments and resulting HR solutions.
  • Provide proactive and strong support to the engineering department on all HR related issues.
  • Drive and implement employee engagement initiatives to foster a positive organizational culture.
  • Manage and resolve complex employee relations issues, conducting effective, thorough, and objective investigations when necessary.
  • Provide guidance and input on business unit restructures, workforce planning, succession planning and skills assessment.
  • Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve HR policies and initiatives to enhance overall business performance.
  • Analyze trends and metrics in partnership with HR peers to develop solutions, programs and policies.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks and ensuring regulatory compliance.
  • Work closely with management and employees to improve work relationships, build morale, increase productivity and retention.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience in a HR Business Partner role within the engineering industry or a related field is essential.
  • Proven experience in managing a range of HR functions including employee relations, HR projects, organizational development, performance management and HR advice.
  • Strong understanding of HR legislation and regulations.
  • Excellent leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to build relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to analyze data, understand trends and develop recommendations for action based on the analysis.
  • Proficiency with HRIS and talent management systems.
  • Professional certification in HR (such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP) is a plus.
