We are currently seeking an experienced HR Generalist to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will be well-versed in all aspects of human resources, with a specific focus on orientation, new hire processes, analysis, hiring, employment verification, and I9 compliance. The position requires a minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work closely with our legal team and contribute to our company's growth and success.

Responsibilities:

As a HR Generalist, your key responsibilities will include:

1. Developing and implementing HR strategies and initiatives aligned with the overall business strategy.
2. Managing the recruitment and selection process, including posting job ads, screening applicants, conducting interviews, and coordinating orientation and training programs for new hires.
3. Conducting in-depth analysis of our company's HR programs and policies to ensure they are effective and compliant with legal regulations.
4. Overseeing all aspects of employee relations, including resolving conflicts and ensuring a positive work environment.
5. Managing employment verification processes and ensuring compliance with I9 and other legal requirements.
6. Providing consultation and guidance to management on a variety of HR-related topics, such as performance management, diversity and inclusion, and employee development.
7. Developing and implementing HR policies and procedures, and ensuring they are understood and followed throughout the company.
8. Keeping up-to-date with the latest HR trends and best practices, and applying this knowledge to improve our company's HR functions.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for the HR Generalist position will have the following qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
2. Minimum of 5 years of HR generalist experience, preferably in the financial services industry.
3. In-depth knowledge of HR functions and best practices, including orientation, new hire processes, analysis, hiring, employment verification, and I9 compliance.
4. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with employees at all levels of the organization.
5. Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze complex HR data and make informed decisions.
6. Knowledge of employment laws and regulations, and the ability to ensure company compliance.
7. Proficiency in HR management software and databases.
8. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to resolve conflicts and handle sensitive situations with tact and diplomacy.
9. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively.
10. SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP certification is a plus.
