Are you an experienced HR professional passionate about playing a key role in driving the success of an organization? We are seeking a seasoned HR Professional to join our dynamic team in the engineering industry. In this role, you will leverage your expertise in talent management, employee relations, interviewing, performance management, and other critical HR functions to help us attract, develop, and retain top talent. This is a permanent, full-time position offering a competitive compensation package and the opportunity to make a significant impact on our organization.

Responsibilities:

As our HR Professional, your responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

1. Leading and managing the entire talent management process, including recruitment, selection, onboarding, development, and retention of top talent.
2. Building and maintaining strong employee relations, resolving conflicts and issues promptly and effectively.
3. Conducting interviews, screening potential candidates, and making hiring recommendations.
4. Implementing and managing performance management systems, conducting performance evaluations, and providing constructive feedback to employees.
5. Ensuring compliance with FMLA, Workers Compensation, LOAs, terminations, and other relevant laws and regulations.
6. Developing, updating, and enforcing the employee handbook, policies, and procedures.
7. Providing guidance and advice to management on HR-related matters, contributing to strategic planning and decision-making.
8. Participating in HR projects and initiatives, driving continuous improvement in HR practices.

Qualifications:

The ideal candidate for this position will possess the following qualifications:

1. A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. A master's degree or HR certification would be a plus.
2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Human Resources, preferably in the engineering industry.
3. Proven experience in talent management, employee relations, interviewing, performance management, FMLA, Workers Compensation, LOAs, terminations, evaluations, employee handbook, policies, procedures.
4. Strong knowledge of HR laws and regulations.
5. Excellent communication, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
6. Strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities effectively.
7. Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite.
8. A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information.
