We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Bilingual Spanish Human Resources Generalist to join our highly functioning human resources team. This role is essential to our organization, providing a wide range of HR support and contributing to the overall success of our HR department. As a key team member, you will be involved in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, policy development, and payroll processing.

We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Bilingual Spanish Human Resources Generalist to join our highly functioning human resources team. This role is essential to our organization, providing a wide range of HR support and contributing to the overall success of our HR department. As a key team member, you will be involved in areas such as recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, policy development, and payroll processing.
Responsibilities:
- Support the implementation of HR programs by assisting with recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, and routine employee communications.
- Assist with employee relations by responding to routine inquiries, helping resolve basic workplace concerns, and escalating sensitive or complex matters to HR leadership.
- Coordinate recruiting logistics, including job postings, scheduling interviews, initiating background checks, and preparing onboarding materials.
- Maintain and update company policies, templates, and procedures under the direction of HR management, ensuring documents remain current and accessible.
- Input and maintain accurate employee information in HRIS systems (UKG, Paylocity), supporting data integrity and regular audits.
- Assist with payroll processing by reviewing timesheets, resolving discrepancies, and coordinating with payroll to meet deadlines; Act as the backup for full payroll processing for team members.
- Organize and maintain personnel files in compliance with company standards and legal requirements, including I-9s and termination records.
- Support the HR Manager and/or Director with disciplinary documentation, exit interviews, and tracking of employee performance concerns.
- Help coordinate and track completion of compliance trainings (e.g., harassment prevention, safety) and support onboarding sessions and orientation programs.
- Assist with workers’ compensation documentation and reporting; coordinate with managers and third-party providers to ensure timely claim processing.
- Participate in employee recognition efforts, company events, and wellness or engagement programs that foster a positive workplace culture.
- Provide administrative support for HR projects, audits, and reporting needs as assigned.
- May assist with coordinating performance review cycles and tracking employee development plans at the direction of HR leadership.
- Ensure day-to-day HR tasks, such as responding to verification requests, updating job descriptions, and generating standard HR reports, are completed accurately and on time.
Qualifications:
- Bilingual in Spanish and English is a must.
- 3+ years of experience in Human Resources.
- 3+ years of experience in that Generalist capacity that will come with a strong understanding of daily HR support and wage & hour compliance.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in HRIS systems (UKG, Paylocity) and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Demonstrated ability to handle sensitive and confidential information.
- Knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices.
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field preferred.
