Summary
The HR Project Manager will have the responsibility for monitoring and accomplishing company wide crucial projects, goals and objectives through careful evaluation and planning. Supervising and managing everyday operation and daily tasks, making sure that they are running smoothly and well.

The person should have an in-depth familiarity and understanding of technology – and how it helps us obtain the business goals. The person should also be a tech-savvy expert and professional who have impressive time management ability and methodological skill. The person should be able to use the skills, especially in communication, to work together with different kinds of teams effectively. Basically, the responsible manager should have the solid ability to manage the projects and deliver the life-cycle within the expected time, budget requirements, and quality.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Support Leadership/Management team in the rollout of all projects (OGSMP, Succession Planning, Performance Management Plans, Individual Development Plans, etc.)
  • Develop project plans and identify timelines with necessary feedback and alignment.
  • Report status to the VP of HR and hold recurring meetings to ensure proper direction
  • Liaise with Senior Leadership Team and facilitate communication between working teams/individuals
  • Develops, presents and maintains project plans, including business cases, staffing requirements, detailed budgets, work breakdown structures and schedules
  • Help ensure that projects are routinely prioritized, reported, managed and status is communicated to ensure business value is delivered
  • Help develop project plans and consistently deliver progress reports, proposals and requirements documentation of presentation materials
  • Help define project scope, objectives, milestones, success criteria and deliverables that support business goals in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Help design, document and implement appropriate protocols
  • Support the “Year-End” Processes related to Performance Evaluations, Open Enrollment and bonus goals
  • Support managers with documenting and communicating ongoing performance of project responsibilities
  • Lead matrix project teams, influence leaders within the organization, monitor project plans, milestone achievement, dependencies in order to achieve agreed upon outcomes on due date
  • Communicate/report/etc. status, critical, issues, etc.
  • Analyze, research and design functional specifications from internal and external industry sources for HR best practices to meet business requirements
  • Coordinate, facilitate, lead and document various project, committee and steering group meetings
  • Presentation development support (MS Excel, Power Point, Visio) for senior level audience
  • Ad hoc support of HR teams across organization
  • Prepare project templates and tools, compile budget and resource requirements
  • Since the company is going to deal with many digital projects, the project manager is expected to take an active part in possibly marketing items, web applications, site launches, and online tools.

Qualifications & Skills
  • Bachelor degree in HR, Management, and other related fields
  • Prior experience in an HR management or administrative role
  • Highly knowledgeable in HR systems, protocols and processes
  • Highly organized with a structured work style, methodical thinker, with strong attention to detail
  • Strong Excel skills and proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications, including Word and PowerPoint
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills and excellent listening skills
  • Ability to work independently and within a team
  • Able to undertake the Business Analyst role within the project to identify and propose solutions for any area of the project including the operational procedures, or business processes or the IT application
  • Able to take the initiative and display problem solving capability with a can-do attitude
  • Effectively able to communicate across all levels of the organization including management, key business sponsors and with external service providers
  • Able to determine and resolve project slippage and scope changes in respect of the overall project, prioritize deliverables to ensure milestones are met
  • Confident and able to convincingly structure, summarize, present and defend recommendations both orally and in written report form to all levels including senior stake holders
  • Appropriately assertive with excellent relationship building and stakeholder management skills
  • Enthusiastic with solid motivation, customer/ key stakeholders focus, proactive and willingness to take ownership going the extra mile to achieve high quality of outputs and service
  • Highly organized with the ability to juggle multiple competing priorities & manage complexity in a fast paced environment
  • Must have excellent presentation and demonstration skills
