Responsibilities
As a Human Resources Supervisor, you will:
- Lead and manage the HR team to deliver a comprehensive HR service to the business.
- Oversee recruitment efforts to ensure we attract and retain the best talent in the industry.
- Develop and implement HR strategies and initiatives that align with the overall business strategy.
- Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital.
- Nurture a positive working environment by maintaining a high level of communication with all employees.
- Oversee and manage a performance appraisal system that drives high performance.
- Develop and monitor overall HR strategies, systems, tactics, and procedures across the organization.
- Assess training needs to apply and monitor training programs.
- Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
- Ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will possess:
- A minimum of 6+ years' experience in Human Resources Management, preferably in the construction industry.
- Proven experience in Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance Management, Training & Development, HR Policies & Procedures, Compensation & Benefits, HRIS Systems, Organizational Development, Employment Law, Strategic Planning, Conflict Resolution, and Team Building.
- A degree in Human Resources or related field.
- Strong knowledge of HR systems and databases.
- In-depth knowledge of labor law and HR best practices.
- Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the company.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop HR department staff members.
- Ability to architect strategy along with leadership skills.
- Excellent people management skills and an ability to handle sensitive issues with tact and diplomacy.
