Job Summary: Join our team as an HVAC Controls Technician and contribute to making buildings smarter, safer, more energy-efficient, and comfortable.

Responsibilities:
  • Install, program, and commission HVAC control systems, including temperature sensors, thermostats, dampers, actuators, and variable frequency drives.
  • Conduct regular maintenance tasks to ensure proper operation and identify potential issues.
  • Troubleshoot system malfunctions, utilizing knowledge of control systems, wiring diagrams, and electrical components.
  • Collaborate with the team to integrate control systems with HVAC equipment, ensuring efficient operation.
  • Perform system testing and balancing to verify accuracy and functionality.
  • Provide technical support and guidance to customers and colleagues on control system operations and maintenance.
  • Maintain accurate records of service visits, inspections, and repairs.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent. Additional technical certifications or trade school education in HVAC controls is preferred.
  • Proven experience as an HVAC Controls Technician or similar role.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting control system diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Familiarity with DDC (Direct Digital Control) systems and BAS (Building Automation Systems).
  • Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel to job sites as required.
