Summary: Performs successful design, startup, commissioning, and service of HVAC Direct Digital Controls projects with Automated Logic Corporation controls products.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ability to design building automation systems
- Read and understand plans and drawings to successfully start-up and commission the HVAC Direct Digital Controls associated with each project’s mechanical, chilled water, and air systems.
- Possess a technical understanding or ability to understand the following software products: Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word, Windows, Visio, QuickBooks, Auto-Cad, Sitebuilder, and Eikon.
- Ability to technically understand Windows based operating systems, Ethernet networks, Internet based systems, and HVAC DDC I/O instruments and devices.
- Capable of troubleshooting and finding solutions for DDC systems.
- Must understand operational sequences and programming logic and the ability to transfer to control logic software.
- Ability to identify and debug software and electrical installations.
- Understand the control algorithms (PID’s) and the ability to adjust and fine tune these algorithms.
- Possess the skills to change HVAC DDC systems graphics, setpoints, addressing points, and editing drawings.
- Support existing customer satisfaction by investigating concerns with their systems.
- Ability to place required orders for products and equipment and track orders with office software.
- Coordinate outside system specialists for projects successful completion.

- Strong verbal communication and telephone skills.
- Excellent interpersonal skills and willingness to be a team player.
- Excellent organizational and prioritization skills; ability to manage multiple projects.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:
- The position requires a Degree in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering.
- Must possess intermediate or higher knowledge of HVAC, Windows based systems, and Direct Digital Controls.
