As an Estimating Specialist, you will play a crucial role in our team by providing accurate and detailed cost estimates for HVAC projects. We are seeking a candidate who possesses a team mindset, has a solid understanding of HVAC systems, and is capable of multitasking and self-motivation in handling multiple projects simultaneously. Responsibilities:

• Review project plans and specifications to gain a comprehensive understanding of the scope of work and project requirements.
• Develop cost estimates based on the project scope, including materials, labor, and equipment.
• Collaborate with project managers and team members to identify opportunities for cost reduction.
• Conduct site visits to gather essential information and assess project requirements accurately.
• Communicate with subcontractors and vendors to obtain pricing and availability information for materials and equipment.
• Prepare and submit bid proposals, including detailed cost breakdowns and project timelines.

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of estimating experience, HVAC is preferred
• Must posses a GED or HS Diploma
• Ability to work closely with clients and colleagues in a professional business environment.
