HVAC Technician-PERM

Our client, an established facilities service, engineering, and design firm.
They perform installation, repair, and maintenance for Commercial, Industrial facility projects in Massechussets.

We are seeking a highly motivated Contract HVAC Onsite Technician to join our team in the Engineering industry. As a Contract HVAC Onsite Technician, you will be responsible for providing exceptional technical support to our clients in the field of HVAC, refrigeration, and mechanical systems. The ideal candidate will have at least 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry and possess a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, boilers, and installation.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of HVAC and refrigeration systems to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot mechanical and electrical issues in HVAC/R systems and provide effective solutions to clients.
• Install and commission new HVAC/R systems and equipment, ensuring compliance with industry standards and regulations.
• Provide technical support and guidance to clients on the operation and maintenance of HVAC/R systems.
• Conduct performance testing on HVAC/R systems and equipment to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
• Collaborate with other technicians and engineers to develop and implement innovative solutions to complex HVAC/R problems.
• Maintain accurate records of all maintenance and repair activities, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Respond promptly to client requests for emergency repairs and provide timely and effective solutions to minimize downtime.

Qualifications:

• At least 3 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with a strong understanding of HVAC/R systems, refrigeration, and mechanical systems.
• Relevant certifications in HVAC/R, such as RHVAC or equivalent.
• Strong technical skills in troubleshooting, repair, and installation of HVAC/R systems and equipment.
• Proficiency in using diagnostic tools and equipment to identify and resolve issues in HVAC/R systems.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts to clients and colleagues in a clear and concise manner.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering exceptional customer service.
• Willingness to work flexible hours and respond to emergency calls as needed.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
