As an HVAC Tech you will be responsible for creating optimal indoor environments that ensure the comfort and well-being of individuals through the design, installation, maintenance, and repair of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. Your role goes beyond traditional HVAC technicians as you embrace innovation and sustainability in your work.
Responsibilities:
1. Design and Installation: Collaborate with architects and engineers to develop HVAC system designs that meet the unique requirements of each project. Ensure proper installation of equipment and ductwork, considering energy efficiency and environmental impact.
2. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance on HVAC systems to maximize their efficiency and lifespan. Troubleshoot and diagnose issues to identify and implement appropriate repairs, ensuring minimal downtime for clients.
3. Energy Efficiency Optimization: Analyze HVAC systems to identify opportunities for energy conservation and efficiency improvement. Propose and implement strategies such as system upgrades, equipment retrofits, and controls optimization to reduce energy consumption and minimize environmental impact.
4. Indoor Air Quality Management: Assess and address factors affecting indoor air quality, including ventilation, filtration, and humidity control. Conduct tests and measurements to ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
5. Sustainable Solutions: Stay up to date with emerging trends and technologies in the HVAC field, such as renewable energy integration, smart building automation systems, and sustainable refrigerants. Implement environmentally friendly solutions and recommend green initiatives to clients.
6. Client Communication: Interact with clients to understand their specific comfort requirements, address their concerns, and provide expert advice on HVAC system operation, maintenance, and energy-saving practices. Build strong customer relationships through exceptional service.
7. Safety and Compliance: Follow all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a secure work environment. Stay informed about industry codes and standards and ensure adherence during system installations, repairs, and maintenance activities.
Requirements:

• Proven experience as an HVAC technician or in a related field.
• Solid knowledge of HVAC systems, equipment, and components.
• Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
• Familiarity with energy efficiency practices and sustainability concepts.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Physical ability to lift heavy equipment and work in various environments.
