Hybrid Accounting Manager (Real Estate)

We are representing a commercial real estate investment firm focused on value-add real estate acquisitions in the South Atlantic, West Central South, and West Mountain regions of the United States.

Responsibilities:

• Complete real estate acquisition checklist, initiate real estate acquisition’s entry workbook setup and entry, reconcile initial tenant related subledger items, ASC-805 appraisal valuation review and implementation, Due To/Due From schedule setup and reconciliation
• Complete real estate sale’s checklist, initiate real estate sale’s entry workbook setup and entry, reconcile tenant related subledger items (reversal and proration), Due To/Due From schedule setup and reconciliation, fixed assets held for sale and dispositions
• Assist Director of Accounting with Job Cost implementation, review monthly fixed assets workbook, Construction in Progress reconciliation review, review all open projects and assist accountants with closing out projects
• Review the management contract prior to real estate acquisition, modify by incorporating accounting related clauses
• Responsible for Bank Reconciliations, Mortgage Reconciliations, Equity Schedules, Due To/Due From, Real Estate Tax Reconciliation, Insurance Reconciliation, Fixed Asset Reconciliation, Subledgers, Financial Reports, Asset Management Schedules, Lender Required Schedules
• Communication with the auditing personnel, assist Director of Accounting with entire audit process

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree
• 5+ years' of Accounting experience
• Excellent written and verbal communication
• Ability to manage multiple priorities
• Proficient with Yardi or MRI
