You will be responsible for managing a team of 6. This is a hybrid position with a 2-3 remote flexibility option. We are looking for candidates with strong SaaS or HealthTech experience. CPA is preferred but not required.

Job Details:

We are looking for a dynamic, highly skilled, and experienced Permanent Senior Accounting Manager to join our team in the technology industry. This role is perfect for a seasoned accounting professional who thrives in a fast-paced, innovative environment and is passionate about financial management, process improvement, and business strategy. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing financials, ledger, fixed assets, and annual budget. They will also have experience with SaaS and HealthTech accounting, GAAP, NetSuite, and have excellent Excel and analytical skills.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting, budget and forecasts preparation, as well as the development of internal control policies and procedures.
• Manage and supervise the daily operations of the accounting department including month and end-year process, accounts payable/receivable, cash receipts, general ledger, payroll and utilities, treasury, budgeting, cash forecasting, revenue and expenditure variance analysis, capital assets reconciliations, check runs, fixed asset activity, debt activity etc.
• Manage the general ledger including creation and modification of GL accounts, maintenance of NetSuite custom reports, and Oracle Smartview.
• Conduct and lead ad hoc financial analysis and reporting.
• Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
• Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
• Coordinate the preparation of regulatory reporting.
• Research technical accounting issues for compliance.
• Support month-end and year-end close process.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field. Advanced degree or professional accounting certification (CPA, CMA, etc.) preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in a senior-level finance or accounting position.
• Proven experience with Financials, Ledger, Fixed Assets, Annual Budget, SaaS accounting, HealthTech accounting, GAAP, and NetSuite.
• Excellent Excel and analytical skills, including vLookUps, Pivot Tables, etc.
• Strong understanding of internal control concepts.
• Proven knowledge of bookkeeping and accounting principles, practices, standards, laws, and regulations.
• High attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to direct and supervise.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
