Job Details

Our firm is seeking an Immigration Attorney who has represented their clients in a variety of settings, including but not limited to the following: Representation for Hearings before EOIR, representing their clients in interviews such as Asylum, AOS and/or Naturalization before USCIS or even representing Clients in ICE custody. An ideal candidate should be able to supervise paralegals' work product and manage a diverse caseload under their supervision.

Required Qualifications
  • We are looking for attorneys with 3+ years of immigration work
  • Fluency in Spanish (Portuguese is helpful)
  • On-site, 5 days per week (no Hybrid or remote options available)
  • Active Bar license in good standing

  • Conduct potential new client meetings for consultations
  • Coordinate case and legal strategies
  • Manage various projects and deadlines
  • Ability to train and supervise administrative staff and paralegals
  • Prepare, and revise documents
  • Research unique legal issues by identifying applicable statutes and judicial decisions
  • Maintain informed of legislative changes that may affect immigration
  • Develop solutions to complex legal questions
  • Attend master calendar hearings, bond hearings, and individual/merits hearings
  • Familiar in the following areas: Family Petitions, Asylum, Individual Hearings, SIJS, U-VISAs, Waivers including (I-601A, I-212, I-601), etc...
