Job Details

This position exists to support overall manufacturing operations and requires an industrial/manufacturing shop background. Ability to fabricate and assemble, mechanically and electrically OEM equipment. Individual carries out routine assignments and supports Production Lead in installation and troubleshooting as needed. This position will also perform routine quality tasks associated with AS9100 compliance, and handling of discrepant material. Responsibilities of the job include:

  • Proper installation of electrical components
  • Understand electrical control systems and sequence of operation
  • Troubleshoot, inspect proper configuration, and testing
  • Interpret electrical schematics and PLC logic
  • Read electrical and mechanical diagrams, schematics, drawings
  • Run cables of various sizes and make electrical connections and terminations
  • Use proper instrumentation to understand and test the product such as using electrical test meters, pressure transducer, temperature sensor
control, and motor control for product specifications and quality standards
  • Perform low voltage testing on a work in progress or finished work
  • Rework and/or repair assembled equipment and products according to engineering specification changes
  • Follow departmental procedures, company policies and instructions made by the Production Lead and Production Manager written or verbally
  • Maintains safe and clean working environment according to OSHA and as instructed by the manager to comply with procedures
  • Documents actions and issues by completing production or quality forms
  • Contributes, supports, and be a team player by accomplishing related tasks as needed

Qualifications:
  • HS Diploma, Electrical Technology or Industrial Motor Controls Certification or related experience or degree preferred
  • Must have previous training in IPC J-STD-001 and IPC-A-610 certification or equivalent
  • Refrigeration experience preferred
  • 3+ years electrical assembly experience
  • Experience working in a fast paced, minimum supervision environment
  • Must be able to demonstrate knowledge and installation of electrical systems
  • Must be able to read basic and complexed diagrams, schematics, and/or diagrams
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
