Job Details

This individual will be responsible for maintaining a book of existing accounts, acquiring new accounts with recurring business and will be managing internal relationships to support the needs of those customers. This in office full time position works to satisfy customers’ needs and requests, respond to their queries in a timely manner and aspire to deliver a positive customer experience. This role offers a sales commission structure and opportunity to grow into an Outside Sales Rep where the earning potential is much higher.

Responsibilities:

  • Focus is on growing revenues of existing assigned accounts (penetration) to exceed $20k and acquiring new accounts with recurring business.
  • Proactively reach out to organizations, companies, restaurants, associations that may need services and products.
  • Track and complete all assigned sales CRM metrics (calls, quotes, emails, tasks, meetings) in company CRM, HubSpot, and keep current by updating information daily.
  • Meet and/or exceed set margin targets
  • Maintain a well-developed pipeline of business (current customers and prospects)
  • Responsible for customer education including industry trends, ideas and understanding their business needs.
  • Opening order coordination and management- does NOT enter or write orders.
  • Responsible for product demos and new customer onboarding.
  • Responsible for the ongoing shift to move customers to our B2B platform.
  • Participate in cross-functional teams to ensure the continuous, on-going improvement of processes, methods, productivity and quality, while reducing costs.
  • Responsible for selling and introducing value-added products or services.
  • Acquire knowledge on the product and services offered by our suppliers providing the customer with options and choices to their program needs.
  • Provide highest level of service to both internal and external customers including internal relationship management.
  • Both written and verbal communication styles must be presented in a confident, articulate and professional manner.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field or 3-5 years of related experience
  • Must Have sales experience within the foodservice supply or products industry (ex. disposables, paper products, Jan San, cleaning supplies, small wares, barware, tabletop, etc.)
