The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex medical malpractice cases and a passion for advocating on behalf of injured patients.

The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in handling complex medical malpractice cases and a passion for advocating on behalf of injured patients.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage medical malpractice cases from initial consultation through trial or settlement
- Conduct thorough investigations into alleged medical negligence incidents
- Analyze medical records, consult with medical experts, and develop case strategies
- Draft and file legal documents, including complaints, motions, and briefs
- Negotiate settlements with opposing counsel and insurance companies
- Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and arbitrations
- Mentor junior attorneys and oversee case teams
- Stay current with evolving medical malpractice laws and healthcare regulations
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree from an accredited law school
- Active membership in good standing with the Florida Bar Association
- Minimum of 5 years of experience practicing medical malpractice law
- Proven track record of successful case outcomes and substantial settlements/verdicts
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, procedures, and standards of care
- Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills
- Superior analytical and problem-solving abilities
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to communicate complex medical and legal concepts to clients
Preferred Qualifications:
- Board certification in Medical Malpractice Law
- Experience with class action lawsuits related to medical devices or pharmaceuticals
