Insurance Defense Attorney

An established, Tampa-based civil litigation practice, is looking for a motivated trial attorney experienced in the areas of Insurance Defense- first party property/casualty to join their team!

Must have first and/or third party property defense and insurance litigation experience.
The ideal candidates must have excellent academic qualifications and a minimum of 2 to 10 years of experience.
The position will include legal research, drafting motions, arguing motions, taking and defending depositions.
This position will have substantial client contact, as well as marketing involvement, so excellent communication skills are necessary.
Desire to excel and focus on long-term career goals are encouraged.

Familiarity with Aderant/Client Profiles is a plus.
Equity/Shareholder position after 2 years, or sooner; timeline depending upon credentials/qualifications/experience.
Book of business is not required.
Position will include handling cases at all stages from pre-suit to trial and post-trial.
Must be willing to work productively and independently carrying your own clients and case load.
