We are looking for a dynamic, highly skilled Insurance Defense Attorney to join our growing firm. This is a unique opportunity to play a key role in our organization, where you will be responsible for defending our clients in a wide range of insurance defense claims. Your work will primarily focus on Premises Liability, Product Liability, and Professional Liability cases. You will be expected to handle all aspects of the litigation process, from inception through resolution, and provide our clients with high-quality legal advice and representation.

Responsibilities:

As an Insurance Defense Attorney, you will be responsible for:

1. Representing our clients in court and before government agencies, presenting well-defined arguments and evidence for all cases.
2. Handling a wide range of insurance defense cases- including Premises Liability, Product Liability, and Professional Liability.
3. Conducting thorough legal research and analysis of complex legal issues related to insurance defense.
4. Preparing legal pleadings, motions, discovery, stipulations, etc.
5. Writing, reviewing, and editing reports, opinions, correspondence, articles, and other documents.
6. Participating in the development of defense strategies.
7. Negotiating settlements for legal disputes.
8. Complying with all legal standards and regulations.
9. Performing administrative and management functions related to the practice of law.

Job Details

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

1. Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Insurance Defense Attorney- with a focus on Premises Liability, Product Liability, and Professional Liability.
3. Must be a member in good standing with the State Bar.
4. Proficient understanding of insurance law, with the ability to handle all aspects of the litigation process.
5. Excellent negotiation, research, and communication skills.
6. The ability to work independently and as part of a team.
7. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to make well-reasoned legal arguments.
8. High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
9. Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to develop strong relationships with clients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
