• Evaluating complex claims
• Preparing client reports
• Drafting pleadings
• Attending hearings
• Formulating legal strategy
• Conducting legal research
• Managing discovery and document production
• Attend and take depositions
• Working on all aspects of pretrial to trial

Qualifications

• 5+ years in basic civil litigation
• Experience in drafting answers, propounding and responding to discovery, basic motion practice, and deposing witnesses
• Maritime and coverage experience is a plus
• Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively with other practice group lawyers
