Job Details
As a Commercial Lines Insurance Producer with 1+ years of experience, you will play an integral role in assisting businesses and organizations in obtaining the insurance coverage they need to protect against various risks and liabilities. You will build upon your foundational knowledge of insurance products and industry practices to provide valuable support to clients. Collaborating with a team of experienced professionals, you will contribute to the growth and success of our agency by delivering exceptional service and expertise.
Responsibilities:
Client Interaction: Communicate effectively with clients to understand their insurance needs, answer inquiries, and provide guidance. Build and maintain strong relationships to foster client trust and loyalty.
Policy Analysis: Evaluate business operations, assets, and potential liabilities to assess risk and determine appropriate coverage options. Analyze existing insurance policies for coverage gaps and recommend necessary adjustments.
Quoting and Presentation: Obtain insurance quotes from various carriers, prepare proposals, and present coverage options to clients. Clearly explain policy terms, conditions, and pricing, helping clients make informed decisions.
Market Research: Stay updated on industry trends, new insurance products, and emerging risks. Share insights with clients to help them adapt their coverage as needed.
Team Collaboration: Collaborate with senior producers, underwriters, and other team members to enhance your knowledge and learn from their expertise. Contribute positively to the team's goals and objectives.
Continuing Education: Pursue ongoing professional development through training, workshops, and certifications to enhance your expertise in commercial insurance and related regulations.
Documentation and Compliance: Maintain accurate and organized client records, policy documentation, and regulatory compliance documentation.
Networking: Attend industry events, workshops, and networking opportunities to expand your professional connections and stay informed about industry developments.
Requirements:
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field preferred, but not mandatory.
Insurance License: Valid insurance producer license for commercial lines in accordance with local regulations.
Experience: 1+ year of experience in commercial lines insurance or related field.
Industry Knowledge: Basic understanding of commercial insurance products, coverage types, and risk assessment.
Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact effectively with clients, carriers, and team members.
Attention to Detail: Accuracy in policy issuance, documentation, and client communication.
Time Management: Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple clients and policies simultaneously.
Technology Proficiency: Familiarity with insurance management software, Microsoft Office, and relevant digital tools.
Customer Service Orientation: A commitment to delivering exceptional service and building positive client relationships.
