We are actively recruiting for an intellectual property attorney to join our client's growing life sciences practice group in Chicago! This opportunity is with a well respected specialized IP firm that employs 70+ attorneys across several office locations. The firm boasts a healthy docket of complex patent and trademark litigation and prosecution matters in a professional environment that cultivates career advancement and growth.
The partners are seeking attorneys with strong academic credentials and litigation experience involving life sciences, biotechnology or biomedical engineering matters. At minimum, interested candidates must have an undergraduate degree in a field related to the life sciences (biology, organic chemistry, biomedical engineering, etc.). An advanced science degree is a significant plus, but not required.
This role will include all aspects of patent litigation including trial participation. You will have an active role in communicating directly with both domestic and foreign clients and have the opportunity to perform substantive work on important cases from day one. This position comes with a strong base compensation, reasonable billable requirement, excellent benefits, hybrid in office/remote scheduling, yearly bonuses and continuing education reimbursement.
