Job Details:

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Internal Medicine Registered Nurse to join our team of healthcare professionals. Responsibilities:

As an Internal Medicine Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing the highest level of care to patients within our internal medicine department. Your duties will include:

1. Collaborating with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans.
2. Assessing patient health, documenting symptoms and medical history, and interpreting patient information to identify potential problems or conditions.
3. Administering medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
4. Providing education to patients and families on disease prevention, health maintenance, and the management of chronic conditions.
5. Implementing nursing interventions and protocols for a variety of acute and chronic medical conditions.
6. Monitoring and recording patient condition, vital signs, recovery progress, and updating patient files accordingly.
7. Responding to emergencies, administering Basic Life Support (BLS), and coordinating with the healthcare team for patient care.
8. Ensuring the highest level of patient safety and care by adhering to healthcare regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

To be considered for this position, you must possess the following qualifications:

1. Active and unrestricted Registered Nurse license.
2. A minimum of 2 years of experience as an Internal Medicine Registered Nurse or in a similar role.
3. Experience in a physician practice setting, specifically in internal medicine.
4. Proficiency in administering Basic Life Support (BLS) and handling emergency situations.
5. Experience working as an outpatient registered nurse.
6. Strong knowledge of nursing procedures, medical terminology, and healthcare regulations.
7. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team.
8. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with a keen attention to detail.
9. Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to ethical standards.
10. Commitment to ongoing professional development and learning.
