Job Details

Responsibilities:
As an IT Finance Manager, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Overseeing the financial planning and analysis (FP&A) processes within the IT department, ensuring alignment with overall business objectives.
2. Utilizing your utility industry experience to guide financial decisions and strategies.
3. Leading capital forecasting and planning efforts, making sure all initiatives are financially viable and align with our strategic goals.
4. Developing and managing the IT department's budget, ensuring resources are allocated effectively and efficiently.
5. Providing accurate and timely forecasting reports, enabling informed decision-making across the organization.
6. Streamlining and enhancing IT financial processes to improve efficiency and accuracy.
7. Collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive financial performance and strategic initiatives.
8. Presenting financial findings and recommendations to senior management, providing them with a clear understanding of the IT department's financial position.

Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the Accounting + Finance industry.
2. Proven experience in financial planning and analysis (FP&A), capital forecasting, and capital planning.
3. Solid understanding and experience in the utility industry.
4. Demonstrated expertise in budgeting, forecasting, and reporting.
5. Proficiency in IT financial processes.
6. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret complex financial data.
7. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
8. The ability to work effectively in both a team environment and independently.
9. An MBA or PMP certification is a plus, but not required.
