Job Details
Responsible for development, adherence, and maintenance of new and existing MES solutions as defined by business requirements.
BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering or demonstrated deep understanding of current technologies and comparable work experience.
Minimum of 7-10 years of experience working in IT Operations and shop floor systems in a production environment
Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Microsoft Office suite proficiency
Prior experience managing a team in a timeline-based environment. Experience in SCRUM methodology preferred.
Prior experience in development of MES solutions, utilizing but not limited to the following programming languages: C#, Python, JAVA, Ignition, other relevant MES tools.
Other skills include SQL, I-series, Windows Server, IIS, etc.
Lead team of IT Operations personnel
Lead team of developers of Shop Floor Systems and Ignition based MES solutions.
Lead team to develop and deploy standards across the enterprise.
Ability to manage the deployment of solutions within a cross-functional technical team.
Ensure continuous refinement of IT, Shop Floor Systems and MES standards.
Develop and lead a process of best practice and ensure the alignment the enterprise.
Develop and lead the use of IT deployment tools.
Ensure documentation of standard solutions.
Manage interfaces with shop floor systems to Ignition, ERP (CMS), and other Big Data tools (IBM WebQuery)
Coordinate with Plant PLC personnel, plant IT personnel to achieve timely installations.
Abide by all company policies including but not limited to Health & Safety, Quality and Environmental Systems, HR policies and Employee Handbook.
