Job Details

Responsibilities

As a Journeyman Plumber, your responsibilities will include but are not limited to:

1. Reading blueprints, drawings, and specifications to understand the layout of plumbing systems, water supply networks, and waste and drainage systems.
2. Planning, installing, and servicing plumbing systems, fixtures, piping equipment, and controls. These may be used to transport water, waste, gases, or hot liquids.
3. Collaborating with the construction team to ensure plumbing works are integrated smoothly into overall construction plans.
4. Conducting regular inspections of plumbing systems to identify and fix problems or potential issues.
5. Ensuring all installations, repairs, and maintenance meet the requirements of the appropriate codes.
6. Adhering to safety standards and ensuring a safe work environment by following OSHA guidelines.
7. Providing exceptional customer service, maintaining a professional demeanor, and working effectively as part of a team.

Qualifications

The ideal candidate for the Journeyman Plumber position should have the following qualifications:

1. A valid Journeyman Plumber license.
2. A minimum of 3 years of experience as a Journeyman Plumber, preferably within the construction industry.
3. Extensive knowledge of commercial plumbing systems and general contractor experience.
4. Familiarity with local, state, and federal building codes.
5. Proven experience with OSHA safety standards and regulations.
6. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to handle complex plumbing issues.
7. Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
8. Physical stamina and the ability to lift heavy equipment and work in a variety of working conditions.
9. A valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
