- Represent clients in court or before government agencies on matters related to labor and employment.
- Prepare and draft legal documents such as pleadings, motions, briefs, and legal opinions.
- Conduct legal research and analysis on various labor and employment issues such as wrongful termination, discrimination, harassment, wage and hour violations, and other employment-related matters.
- Provide legal advice and counsel to clients on labor and employment law matters.
- Negotiate settlements on behalf of clients.
- Manage and oversee paralegals and other support staff.
- Stay updated on the latest changes in labor and employment law and participate in continuous legal education programs.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients.
- Collaborate with other attorneys in the firm on complex legal matters.
- Juris Doctorate from an accredited law school.
- Licensed to practice law in Nebraska
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in labor and employment litigation.
- Strong litigation skills with experience in state and federal courts.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office Suite.
