Land Use Attorney

Our legal firm is seeking a Permanent Land Use Attorney to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing legal counsel and guidance on land use matters. The ideal candidate will have experience in drafting land use applications, conducting feasibility studies, and appellate briefing.

Responsibilities:

• Provide legal advice and guidance on land use matters to clients.
• Conduct feasibility studies to assess the potential impact of land use decisions.
• Draft land use applications and represent clients in the application process.
• Prepare appellate briefs and represent clients in appeals.
• Conduct legal research and analysis to support land use decisions.
• Negotiate with government agencies, developers, and other stakeholders on behalf of clients.
• Attend public hearings and meetings to advocate for clients' interests.
• Stay up-to-date with changes in land use laws and regulations.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctorate degree from an accredited law school.
• Active license to practice law in the state where the position is located.
• 3+ years of experience in land use law.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Experience in drafting land use applications and appellate briefing.
• Familiarity with local, state, and federal land use laws and regulations.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.
