We are seeking a highly skilled, motivated and experienced Compensation Analyst to join this Human Resources team. As a Lead Compensation Analyst, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and managing compensation across all departments, company-wide. We are currently seeking an experienced Lead Compensation Analyst to join our dynamic HR team. This is a unique opportunity to bring your specialized knowledge and skills to a thriving company where you'll be fast tracked to a managerial role (if you desire!) As the Lead Compensation Analyst, you will play a pivotal role in developing, implementing, and administering compensation policies and programs. You will be expected to evaluate and analyze salary data, determine pay grades, and conduct or participate in compensation surveys. This role requires a strategic thinker with a deep understanding of compensation and benefits, who can drive our compensation strategies to attract, motivate, and retain top talent.


  • Lead the development, implementation, and administration of compensation programs, policies, and procedures.
  • Conduct job analyses to determine appropriate salary levels according to compensation guidelines and policies.
  • Participate in salary surveys to collect and analyze competitive salary information to determine company's competitive position.
  • Review proposed salary adjustments for conformance to established guidelines, policies, and practices.
  • Work closely with HR and Management to design, analyze, and administer employee base pay, incentive pay, and sales commission programs.
  • Evaluate and analyze salary data, determine pay grades, and make recommendations on job evaluation and classification.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Prepare and present compensation related reports and metrics to HR and Management.
  • Provide advice on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
  • Support the annual performance review process, including salary increase and bonus calculations.


  • A minimum of 5 years of professional experience in a Compensation Analyst role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Experience providing compensation analysis for a multi-state, mid-to-large enterprise company is highly desired.
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and other MS Office applications.
  • Proven experience with salary analysis, salary benchmarking, and total rewards.
  • Strong understanding of compensation practices and trends, including minimum wage compensation.
  • In-depth knowledge of federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Strong communication and presentation skills.
  • Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) or similar certification is a major plus!
