Location: Multiple Locations (Requires Travel 30% of the time)
Job Type: Regular Full-Time
Pay Rate: $45.00 to $55.00 / Hour - (depending on experience)
FLSA Designation: Non-Exempt

JOB DESCRIPTION:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead HVAC Technician to join our dynamic and growing team. The successful candidate will have at least 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, demonstrating a strong understanding of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems. Familiarity with Direct Digital Control (DDC) systems will be considered an asset. This position requires a commitment to travel approximately 30% of the time to various job sites, offering a great opportunity for those who enjoy variety in their work.
Responsibilities:
1. Inspect, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems, including components such as compressors, motors, and controls.
2. Conduct routine maintenance and service to ensure the optimal performance and longevity of HVAC systems.
3. Collaborate with the project management team to plan and coordinate installation projects.
4. Install and commission new HVAC systems in accordance with company guidelines and industry standards.
5. Provide training and guidance to junior technicians, fostering a supportive and effective team environment.
6. Install and work with DDC control systems, including programming, operation, and troubleshooting.
7. Adhere to all safety policies and procedures, maintaining a clean and safe work environment.
8. Provide exceptional customer service, addressing customer concerns and ensuring satisfaction.
9. Prepare detailed service reports and maintain records of service calls, customer communications, and equipment maintenance.
Requirements:
1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in the HVAC industry, with significant exposure to commercial systems up to 25 tons.
2. Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with HVAC systems, including installations, repairs, and maintenance.
3. Familiarity with DDC control systems.
4. Willingness to train junior technicians
5. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
6. Exceptional customer service skills.
7. Willingness to travel 30%. Intrastate work as needed.
8. Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
9. EPA license required.
10. High school diploma or equivalent; relevant trade school certification is a plus.
11. Proficient with a computer/laptop.
