Summary/objective: We are seeking a motivated individual to work in a team environment to complete assembly of automation equipment produced by a growing OEM.

Work environment: Shop environment. Noise level is moderate when machines are running.
Physical demands: Be able to lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. Able to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
Travel: Not required; limited travel may be available
Education and experience:
Essential Functions:
- Assemble and commission automation equipment to be installed at clients facility.
- Coordinate with engineers and other assemblers to ensure quality and efficiency
- Assist operations with other assemblies, subassemblies, or frames, using hand tools and power tools.
Qualifications:
- Be able to read and interpret building schematics and prints and understand terminology for automation equipment assembly and operations.
- To know and apply best assembly practices and ensure that quality of work meets expectations.
- Maintain tool requirement needs.
Competencies:
- Able to communicate with co-workers and supervisors on judgements made to complete individual projects through telephone, written form, e-mail, or in person.
- Strong decision and problem-solving skills to provide solutions and ability to evaluate and present solutions to individuals relevant to the project.
- This job requires one to come to work with a cooperative attitude towards coworkers
- Observing, receiving, & otherwise obtaining information from relevant sources.
