· Ability to organize workload among the team and disseminate team assignments to efficiently move product through the department

· Ability to work with other department leads and managers to communicate issues and resolve them in a timely manner

· Ability to lead a group of people without direct authority


· Train employees to current operating procedures

· Maintain and organize work through the department and report of updates to other departments and management as necessary

· Lead morning status meetings among team and to the management team.

· Ability to read and understand complex drawings related to weld inspections where NDT inspection is required.

· Utilize industry standards, customer documents and technique sheets to identify the inspection criteria

· Performing and document system checks, keep up with equipment calibration and maintenance and order NDT supplies as needed.

· Work with manufacturing documentation such as router, travelers or work orders, bill of materials and supplier and customer purchase orders.

· Familiar with documenting nonconformance report when inspection results do not meet the blue print, technique or specification requirements.
