We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated Permanent Lead Radiologic Tech to join our fast-paced, high-energy healthcare team. The successful candidate will oversee the daily operations of the radiology department, ensuring optimal patient care and superior image quality. This role requires exceptional leadership skills, strong technical expertise, and a commitment to providing the highest level of patient care.

Responsibilities:

As a Lead Radiologic Tech, you will:

1. Supervise and coordinate the activities of the radiology department, ensuring the delivery of high-quality diagnostic imaging services.
2. Oversee patient scheduling, staff assignment, and workflow to optimize efficiency and patient satisfaction.
3. Maintain and enforce safety standards and protocols to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
4. Perform diagnostic imaging procedures in accordance with established protocols and standards.
5. Train, mentor, and develop staff, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
6. Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to plan appropriate patient treatment.
7. Maintain up-to-date knowledge of advances in radiologic technology and industry best practices.
8. Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and professional standards.
9. Manage equipment maintenance and troubleshooting, ensuring optimal functionality and minimal downtime.
10. Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

To be considered for the Lead Radiologic Tech role, you should have the following:

1. Current and valid certification as a Radiologic Technologist from ARRT.
2. Strong patient care skills
3. Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
4. Exceptional technical skills, including proficiency with a wide range of radiologic equipment and procedures.
5. Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and mentor staff.
6. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively with patients, families, and healthcare professionals.
7. Strong organizational and multitasking skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
8. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and service.
9. Knowledge of current health and safety regulations and best practices in radiologic technology.
10. Physical stamina and dexterity, with the ability to stand for extended periods and maneuver heavy equipment.
11. Computer proficiency, including experience with healthcare information systems and digital imaging software.
