Responsibilities:
As a Lead Software Developer, you will:
1. Take the lead in the design, development, and implementation of complex software solutions.
2. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather and interpret user/system requirements into design specifications.
3. Use your deep understanding of SQL to handle data and ensure the seamless flow of information in our systems.
4. Implement Agile methodologies to create software that is adaptable to changing needs and can be delivered quickly and efficiently.
5. Mentor junior developers, guiding them through complex tasks and helping them grow their skills.
6. Conduct code reviews to ensure best practices are followed and to maintain the highest level of quality in our software.
7. Troubleshoot and resolve issues in our software, providing long-term solutions and improvements.
8. Keep up-to-date with latest technology trends to ensure our software remains current and competitive.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field.
2. A minimum of 5+ years of experience in software development, with a strong focus on SQL and Agile methodologies.
3. Proven experience in leading a team of developers, with a track record of successful software delivery.
4. Excellent knowledge of coding languages and frameworks.
5. Strong understanding of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms.
6. Exceptional problem-solving skills, with an ability to think on your feet.
7. Excellent communication skills, with an ability to explain complex concepts in a clear and concise manner.
