Are you passionate about sales and have a knack for selling into legal departments at companies and law firms? If so, we have an exciting opportunity for you! We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Legal Account Executive to join our sales team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving revenue growth by developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients, particularly within the legal sector. This role requires a keen understanding of the legal landscape, particularly in relation to AmLaw 200 firms and Fortune 500 legal departments.
Responsibilities:
As a Legal Account Executive, your primary responsibilities will include:
1. Building and maintaining relationships with key legal clients, identifying their needs, and proposing solutions that will enhance their productivity and results.
2. Driving sales growth by securing new clients, particularly within the AmLaw 100 and AmLaw 200 sectors as well as corporate legal department.
3. Utilizing your understanding of legal sales to effectively communicate the benefits of our solutions to potential clients.
4. Developing and implementing strategic territory sales plans that expand the company's customer base and ensure its strong presence in the market.
5. Collaborating with internal teams to ensure client needs are met, and feedback is taken into account in the development of new products and services.
6. Regularly tracking and reporting on sales performance and forecast to senior management.
Qualifications:
To be successful in this role, you will need:
1. A minimum of 3 years of experience in legal sales, preferably with exposure AmLaw 200 firms.
2. Proven track record in e-discovery sales, depositions, legal software, legal funding or other related product/solution selling into legal.
3. A deep understanding of the legal sector and its unique needs and challenges.
4. Excellent communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to engage and influence senior-level decision-makers.
5. A results-driven approach, with a proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets.
6. Strong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically and deliver practical solutions.
7. A bachelor's degree in Law, Business, Marketing, or a related field is strongly preferred.
