Job Details
Responsibilities:
1. Manage high-volume billing tasks, ensuring all invoices are accurately processed and sent out in a timely manner.
2. Update billing rates/billing arrangements as needed, and create new billing formats/templates to meet the evolving needs of the firm.
3. Research and respond promptly to billing inquiries, issues, or problems, providing excellent customer service to both internal and external clients.
4. Create billing schedules and other billing analyses as needed to support the finance department and firm management.
5. Follow firm billing policies and procedures, including firm write-off policies, to maintain compliance and ensure consistent billing practices.
6. Utilize eBilling Hub to manage electronic billing processes, ensuring accurate and efficient invoicing.
7. Collaborate with other team members and departments to improve billing processes and resolve any billing-related issues.
Qualifications:
1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in a legal billing role or equivalent.
2. Proven experience with high-volume billing, preferably within the legal industry.
3. Strong knowledge of billing rates/billing arrangements and the ability to create new billing formats/templates.
4. Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to research and respond to billing inquiries, issues, or problems effectively.
5. Experience with creating billing schedules and other billing analyses.
6. Familiarity with firm billing policies and procedures, including firm write-off policies.
7. Experience with eBilling Hub or similar electronic billing software.
8. Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.
9. High level of attention to detail and accuracy, with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
10. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel.
11. Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field is preferred.
