Job Details
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Licensed Practical Nurse to join our team in the medical industry. As a Permanent Licensed Practical Nurse, you will be responsible for providing clinical support to our patients and assisting our physicians in delivering high-quality care. This is a full-time position that offers competitive compensation and benefits packages.
Responsibilities:
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians
- Monitor patients' vital signs and report any changes to the physician
- Assist physicians with procedures and surgeries
- Perform diagnostic tests and collect samples for laboratory analysis
- Educate patients and their families on health management and disease prevention
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive patient care
- Adhere to all safety and infection control protocols
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities
Qualifications:
- Current LPN license in good standing
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Knowledge of medical terminology and procedures
- Proficiency in electronic medical records (EMR) systems
- Ability to prioritize tasks and handle multiple responsibilities simultaneously
- Flexibility to work varying shifts, including weekends and holidays
